Klopp opted to start Salah on the bench, hoping to inject energy into his fatigued squad.

However, Michail Antonio’s 77th-minute equalizer effectively dashed their dwindling Premier League title aspirations.

Just before Antonio’s goal, Salah, who was awaiting his substitution, engaged in a heated exchange with Klopp, displaying apparent frustration towards his manager.

The altercation escalated to the point where fellow substitute Darwin Nunez intervened to separate Salah from the situation.

Klopp addressed the incident post-match, stating it was resolved internally.

When questioned about Salah’s reaction, Klopp indicated that Salah seemed fine with the resolution, but Salah himself hinted at underlying tensions, suggesting there would be consequences if he elaborated.
