An early morning accident occurred at the Ago Adura axis of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway on Saturday, resulting in the death of one person.
According to Babatunde Akinbiyi, spokesperson for the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, the accident involved a Mercedes Benz car with the registration number JJJ168JF.

The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, reportedly dozed off while driving, leading to a loss of control and the car tumbling.
The impact of the accident resulted in the death of the driver. The body of the victim was taken to Ifo General Hospital, and the vehicle was evacuated from the road to facilitate traffic flow.
Akinbiyi emphasized the importance of drivers ensuring they are in a suitable condition to drive before embarking on journeys to prevent such tragic accidents.
